Abstract:
This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational commitment and job
satisfaction on employee discipline in PT Citra Insulindo Abadi Pekanbaru branch.
Census is chosen as the sampling method by making the entire population of 56
employees as the respondents of this study. Independent variables are organizational
commitment and job satisfaction, while the dependent is discipline. Data analyzed by
using multiple regression analysis.
The result indicated positive and significant influence of organizational
commitment and job satisfaction toward discipline either simultaneously or partialy.
Organizational commitment is a dominant factor that influence employees
discipline.
It is recommended to improve the working conditions of employees, especially
in career development and conduct the model of situational control strategies.
