This research is a classroom actionresearch aims to improve and enhance
the learning outcomes math. Implementation of the research done in class IIIA
SDN 008 Salo Kecamatan Salo, were 22 students the first semester of 2012. The
research was conducted by two cycles, each cycle performed three learning
sessions and one tests. Quantitative data obtained through testing for learning
outcomes and qualitativedata abaut the activities of teachers and students through
observation sheet. Quantitative analysis of the result of the analysis showed that
the average score of the class IIIA SDN 008 Salo Kecamatan Salo has increased.
Quantitative an increase in motivation, interests, and activities of students and
teachers in learning of operation of fraction number math with type cooperative
learning STAD. Based on the results of this study concluded that with the
implementation of cooperative learning model type STAD can improve student
learning outcomes math class IIIA SDN 008 Salo Kecamatan Salo.

This study aimed to describe the scientific attitude in science
teaching physics through the use of the original media on eighth grade
students of SMP Negeri 32 Pekanbaru. Subjects were eighth grade
students of SMP Negeri 32 Pekanbaru, amounting to 32 people. The
research instrument used for data collection in this study was the
observation sheet includes scientific attitudes: curiosity, honest,
responsible and work together in groups. Based on the descriptive analysis
of the scientific attitude of students at the first meeting by an average of
55.31% in the average category, the second meeting of the scientific
attitude of students on average by 58.75% in the medium category and the
third meeting of the scientific attitude of students by an average of 80.63 %
are in the high category. So overall there is increasing scientific attitude at
every meeting we can conclude the application of the original media to
inculcate scientific attitude in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 32
Pekanbaru.

This study aims to describe differences in students' increased motivation to learn
physics through original media with the use of conventional learning on eighth
grade students of SMP Negeri 32 Pekanbaru second semester of academic year
2012/2013 on materials Optical. This research was conducted with pretest-posttest
study design Control Group Design. The research subjects were students of a class
that implements VIII4 original media and VIII3 grade students as a conventional
class. Instruments used in the data collection was a questionnaire consisting of
ARCS motivation indicators Attention, Relevance, and Satifaction confidance.
Data were analyzed students' motivation to learn physics through descriptive
analysis. Results of data analysis, for a class that uses the original media obtained
an average score of students' motivation to learn physics after learning of 2.94 to a
high category. As for the conventional classroom learning obtained with an
average score of 2.75 students' motivation to learn physics with high category.
From the data analysis it can be concluded that the students' motivation to learn
physics by learning higher than the original media using conventional learning.

A descriptive study on learning atmosphere in the excellence Biology
Teacher’s Education Program, The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education,
University of Riau has been conducted in the Even Semester of the Academic
Year 2012/2013. The objective was to find out the learning atmosphere in
English for Biology II courses. As much as eighteen students have been defined as
the total respondents by total sampling technique. Data of seven indicators
learning atmosphere, namely: (1) cohesiveness, (2) lecture support, (3)
involvement, (4) investigation, (5) task orientation, (6) cooperation, and (7)
lecture equity obtained by questionnaire What Is Happening In this Class

respondents at the end of the semester. Supplements data were taken by video
recording during the learning process. All data were analyzed descriptively. The
results showed that learning atmosphere English for Biology II were considered
very conducive from aspects of cohesiveness of relationship between students,
task orientation, cooperation and lecture equity. While the lecture support,
involvement, and student investigations were considered is enough conducive. In
clonclusion, the learning atmosphere of English for Biology II by using Research-based teaching were considered was enough conducive. However, the learning
atmosphere of English for Biology II is still needs to be improved in order to
become very conducive, especially with regard to indicators of lecturer support,
student involvement and investigation.
