This study was conducted in May 2013 in the waters of River Tarai District of Kampar Regency Mines. While the analysis of parameters of BOD, COD, TSS and ammonia performed at the Laboratory of the Department of Public Works, Pekanbaru. This study aims to determine the impact of the disposal of liquid waste on water quality River Village Tarai Tarai district of Kampar Regency Mines aspects of physics (pH, temperature, flow velocity, TSS, depth) and chemical (DO, BOD, COD, Ammonia. From the research this can be concluded that, wastewater effluent know an impact on the physical and chemical quality of river water Tarai as TSS increased, the depth and speed of flow, BOD, COD, pH and NH3. overall impact of discharges liquid waste into the waters of river Tarai still not exceed the assimilation capacity of the river Tarai based on the availability of dissolved oxygen conditions which still meets or is above the minimum requirement of fish life, which is 3 mg /l.

This research has been held on October to December 2012 at cow casttle house Pekan baru city, Cipta Karya Ujung Street Pekanbaru. The arm of this research is to increase biofilter working process with old plastic bottle medium in decrease amoniak and H2S, rubbish heap water of cow cattle house until under permanent quality based on Permen LH No. 02 Tahun 2006, finally the living of fishes on the rubish heap water of cow cattle house after processing has been increase too. The water that used came from the rubbish heap water of cleaning animal and cleaning bulding in while vessel. Result of processing with reaktor medium showed that amoniak consentration reduced 70,05-22,8 mg/l with efectivity 62,14 – 83,48%. And the consentration of H2S also 12,01-0,08 mg/l with effectivity around 62,49-99,73%. The cultivation of rubbish heap water of cow cattle house with out medium has bee reduced Amoniak consentration and has too, but the effectivity of cultivated is lower. The reduce of consentration H2S Amoniak effectivity around 41,9-50,11%. Although H2S 33,79-77,14%. The research has been held 7 day with water made by control unit it make all of kind of fishes was died. The research with reaktor water made medium fishes of Jambal Siam fishes were reached 97%, Nila 80% and gold fishes 37%.

Trichogaster pectoralis (Anabantidae) is a type of fish that commonly inhabit flood plane of rivers in Riau and it is known as ornamental fish. The biological aspects of this fish, however, is poorly known. To understand the reproductive biology of this fish, a research study has been conducted on Februari to April 2013. Fish samples were captured from flood plane area of the Tangkerang Barat District and Delima District. Parameters measured were sex ratio, GSI, maturity level, fecundity, and egg diameter. There were 87 fishes (32 male and 55 female). The ratio of male and female was 1:2. The GSI of the fish was 0,07-9,58%, egg diameter was relative small (0,48-0,51 mm). The fecundity of fish from the flood plane was3341-22692eggs/ fish. During the sampling period, the maturity level of the fish captured was various, indicate that the T. pectoralis spawning period is relatively long and it peaks in Februari. It is predicted that the T. pectoralis is a parsial spawner.

The research was conducted from Desember 2012 until March 2013 at palm oil mill industry of PT. PN V Sei. Galuh Tapung Districk Kampar Regency. Aimed to understand the effectiveness of biosand filter and mangrove charcoal in reducing ammonia and TSS content in liquid waste of palm oil mill for live media of fish aquacultur. Sampling of ammonia and TSS were taken in three point with interval every 2nd week for 5 times and analyzed in Laboratory of the Departement of public works and microbiology then compare with Kep-122/MENLH/2004. Liquid waste of palm oil mill processing by use of four reactor units biosand filter and two reactor mangroves charcoal have can reducing ammonia and TSS with decreased ammonia rate of 148,57 mg/l becomes 6,01 mg/l with effectivenesses 95,95 %. While that of TSS from 680 mg/l to 100 mg/l with effectivenesses 85,29 %. Percentage of survival rate for common carp 40%, tillapia 60%, and patin 77%. It’s compliance with quality standard and as good as for patin life media.
