TERHADAP MORTALITAS LARVA NYAMUK Aedes aegypti Aylien Oktavia, Suwondo, Elya Febrita Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Riau Abstrak This research aims to determine the effectiveness of Belimbing wuluh (Averrhoa bilimbi L.) against Aedes aegypti mosquito larvae mortality. The method used in this research was an experimental method using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) which consist of 5 treatments and 4 replications. Parameters measured were mortality of Aedes aegypti larvae during 96 hours exposed, LC50 values and toxic response of Aedes aegypti larvae. Other parameters are temperature and pH medium during 96 hours exposed. Result showed that belimbing wuluh has mortality power against Aedes aegypti larvae. At concentration of 3% larvae’s mortality achieve 100% at 48 hours exposed, whereas at concentration of 2%, 1.3% and 0.8% larvae’s mortality were 87.5%, 67.5% and 35% at 96 hours exposed. LC50 values exposed at 24 hours, 48 hours, 72 hours, and 96 hours were 2.14%, 1.35%, 1.34%, and 0.6%. Aedes aegypti larvae’s toxic response showed agile movement, slowing in time, siphon’s position parallel to the surface of the medium, and color of larvae’s body becomes gray. Concentration suggested to be applied to the environment is 0.6% during 96 hours exposed.
