Item ANALISIS PERUBAHAN TUTUPAN LAHAN DAERAH TANGKAPAN AIR (DTA) WADUK PEMBANGKIT LISTRIK TENAGA AIR (PLTA) KOTO PANJANG(2016-07-13) Nurdin, Nurdin; Bahri, Syaiful; Sukendi, Sukendi; Zulkarnain, ZulkarnainFaktor yang paling berpengaruh dalam sistem air untuk DAS adalah perubahan tutupan lahan di suatu daerah tangkapan air (DTA). Penggundulan hutan atau lahan terbuka akan mempercepat aliran air ke waduk yang mempengaruhi tingginya tingkat erosi dan sedimentasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan jumlah konversi lahan yang terjadi antara tahun 2008 - 2011, 2011 - 2014, dan 2008 -2014. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan menggunakan pendekatan teknologi Simtem Informasi Geografis (GIS) yang digunakan dalam memproses citra satelit. Antara tahun 2008 - 2014 di daerah tangkapan air dari PLTA Koto Panjang telah terjadi perubahan tutupan lahan. Tutupan lahan yang mengalami penurunan terbesar adalah kelas lahan kering pertanian dan campuran semak 24.199,28 ha (7,35%) dari total tangkapan, sedangkan penurunan terkecil adalah hutan kering sekunder 4.270,74 ha (1,30%) dari total daerah tangkapan air. tutupan lahan yang mengalami pertumbuhan terbesar adalah kelas lahan kering daerah pertanian 42.199,49 ha (12,99%) dari total daerah tangkapan, sementara pengurangan terkecil di daerah kelas hutan kering sekunder 4.270,74 ha (1,30%) dari total daerah tangkapan air. Terjadinya penambahan atau pengurangan tutupan lahan 2008 - 2014 di kelas badan air karena tinggi dan rendahnya dari level air yang mempengaruhi hamparan luas danau / sungai, serta pengaruh tutupan vegetasi di sekitar badan air saat perekaman citra satelit.Item ANALISIS USAHA PERIKANAN TANGKAP BERWAWASAN LINGKUNGAN DALAM MENDUKUNG KABUPATEN KARIMUN SEBAGAI KAWASAN FREE TRADE ZONE(2016-07-13) Yuliansyah, Hazmi; Filiatra, Filiatra; Sukendi, Sukendi; Zulkarnaini, ZulkarnainiSistem pengelolaan usaha dan penguasaan teknologi tepat guna yang masih lemah merupakan permasalahan perikanan tangkap yang paling banyak dijumpai di Kabupaten Karimun. Pengembangan usaha perikanan tangkap harus dapat memecahkan masalah tersebut dan meningkatkan posisi tawar Kabupaten Karimun di kawasan free trade zone. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis perkembangan usaha perikanan tangkap dan jenis usaha perikanan tangkap unggulan yang berwawasan lingkungan di Kabupaten Karimun. Metode yang digunakan terdiri dari metode deskriptif dan metode skoring. Jumlah usaha perikanan tangkap yang beroperasi di Kabupaten Karimun berfluktuasi setiap tahunnya. Jumlah tertinggi terjadi pada tahun 2010 yang mencapai 7021 unit, sedangkan jumlah terendah terjadi pada tahun 2012 yang mencapai 5301 unit. Usaha perikanan tangkap terpilih sebagai unggulan dan berwawasan lingkungan berturut-turut adalah gillnet (VA-Gab = 5,714), bubu ketam (VA-Gab = 5,593), rawai (VA-Gab = 5,576), jaring karau (VA-Gab = 5,506), togok (VA-Gab = 5,189), dan kelong (VA-Gab = 4,461).Item Biodiversity of Fish in the Waters of Lake Village, China Reed, Hulu Siak District, District Kampar(2017-11-01) Sukendi, Sukendi; Putra, Ridwan Manda; EddiwanThis research was conducted in The Lake Pinang Dalam and Lake Pinang Luar, Desa Buluh China, District Siak Hulu, and Kampar Regency, Laboratory Hatchery and Pemuliahaan Fish (PPI), and the Laboratory of Fisheries Biology Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, University of Riau, from August to October, 2016. the purpose of this research is 1) to analyze the description and identification of the types of fish found in The Lake Pinang Dalam and Lake Pinang Luar, 2) analyze the types of fish that includes important economic value of The Lake Pinang Dalam and Lake Pinang Luar and 3) to analyze the types fish species that have successfully used the technology of cultivating through the results of research conducted prior to the kinds of fish from the waters of The Lake Pinang Dalam and Lake Pinang Luar. Research shows that the types of fish found in The Lake Pinang Dalam and Lake Pinang Luar are 5 orders, 12 families, 27 genera and 43 species. Types of fish belonging to the economically important consists of 3 orders, 6 families, 9 genera and 10 species. While the types of fish that have been successfully using the technology of cultivating consists of three orders, 4 families, 7 genera and 8 species.Item Carrying Capacity of Mantang Sub District Waters Bintan District, Riau Islands Province for Aquaculture Activities in Floating Net Cages(2017-11-14) Sukendi, Sukendi; Thamrin, Thamrin; Ulfa, MhariaObservations were conducted during four months from November 2013 to February 2014 to determine the carrying capacity of Mantang Sub district waters for aquaculture activities based on the parameters of physics, chemistry and plankton abundance as bio indicators and estimate the impact on economy and ecology in the development of aquaculture in coastal areas. The sources of data in this research were obtained from the determination of sampling locations for 6 stations, the analysis of waters existing was carried out by the measurement of physical, chemical and biological parameters as well as the carrying capacity for floating net cages with phosphorus method.The analysis results of waters environmental existing of Mantang sub district are still in good condition that is adapted to Government Regulation No. 51/2004 where the parameters of temperature, pH and DO still below the Quality Standard but for Phosphate parameter have shown an alarming condition. Stations that can not be developed for aquaculture activity are Mantang baru Island, Pasir Merah Island and Alang Island. While the calculation of the waters environmental carrying capacity of Mantang sub district is still able to accommodate 650 units of cageItem Correlation of Above Ground Biomass Carbon Storage and Productivity of Mangrove Species(2017-10-01) Sukendi, Sukendi; Mariana, MarianaKuala Indragiri area is low-lying areas, namely regional stream sediment, peat swamp areas with soil (peat), brackish forest areas (mangrove) and consists of islands large and small with the average height of approximately 0-3 meters above sea level. The research design is the explorative research, by using nested quadrate method. Each station has three line transects consisting three plots of each transect. The total plots are 45 in each determined mangroves land. The methods followed the procedures developed by the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) for mangrove forests. The finding showed the highest carbon storage at above ground biomass was mangrove species Xylocarpus granatum (46,58 ton/indv) and the highest productivity was mangrove species Kandelia candel (10,793 ton/indv). Correlation (r) between above ground biomass carbon storage and productivity of mangrove species was 0.07 with 37% coefficient of determination. This study aims to analyze the extent of the tolerance of the quality of Lake Kayangan waters to fish farming (KJA) compared to the Standard Quality of PP No.82 of 2001 and analyze people activities around Bandar Kayangan Lake which led to the polluted waters as a result of daily activities. The method used is an experimental method by observing and measuring sample directly on rearing cages measure 1x1x1 m. Patin fries were stocked at the age of two weeks with the number ( 50 fries ) and 3 months time of rearing. Three units of cages were placed at each station that has been determined and Rumbai Freshwater Cultured Installation pond as control. Data were analyzed descriptively and statistically, the descriptive analysis performed on physical and chemical parameters of water based on PP No. 82 year 2001 and was associated with the growth and survival of Patin fry. Statistical analysis is using Analysis of Variance ( ANOVA ) and completely randomized design ( CRD ) with treatment of 3 times repetition. Growth and survival of Patin fry on each station were quite well where the average growth of absolute weight between 35.43-36.20 grams, the average growth rate of daily weight between 5.602-5.782%, the average of absolute growth inlength between13,61-14.10 cm, the average of daily growth in length between 2.285 - 2.321% and the survival rate between56-79%. The waters of Lake Bandar Kayangan is a waters that are so important for the life of people around Lake Bandar Kayangan especially for fish farming in Keramba Floating Net (KJA). The fish are nila fish, mas and gurami. From the results of interviews of researchers to the community around Lake Bandar Kayangan only certain types of fish are able to survive, this is due to the quality of water at Lake Bandar Kayangan can not be tolerated by other fish. But when the researchers tested the catfish seeds, the catfish still survive.Item Decomposition Rate of Mangrove Litter in Kuala Indragiri Coastal(2016-08-28) Mariana, Mariana; Felix, Feliatra; Sukendi, Sukendi; Nasution, SyafruddinThis study was conducted in the mangrove forest located in the Kuala Indragiri coastal areas (Riau province–Indonesia) from January to February 2015. Mangrove litter leaf is organic substance that affects the fertility of mangrove ecosystem, and support the life of organisms within that forest. The mangrove represent as nursery ground, feeding ground, and spawning ground for various fish type, prawn and other marine organisms. This forest is also produce detritus that can be used as main foods source in marine ecosystem. The objectives of this research is to understand the decomposition rate of mangrove litter in the Kuala Indragiri mangrove forest. Data were analyzed by calculating the mean dry weight of the litter and decomposition rate was counted using an exponential rank function or absolute decomposition percentage of litter leaf per day. The highest rate of litter decomposition was found in station V 44.902% with a residence time 15, 930 days. The mean coefficient of litter decomposition rate was 0.058 with residence time 19, 571 days.Item Effect of ovaprim and prostaglandine F2α on semen volume and sperm quality in Sepat siam (Trichogaster pectoralis Regan)(2016-04-02) Sukendi, Sukendi; Putra, Ridwan Manda; Heltonika, BennyThe effects of ovaprim and prostaglandine F2α (PG F2α) on semen volume and sperm quality in sepat siam (Trichogaster pectoralis Regan) were observed. Eighteen wild cought male fishes were injected with three combinations of ovaprim and prostaglandine F2α (0,250 ml ovaprim + 1250 μg PG F2α/kg body weight, P1), 0,375 ml ovaprim + 625 μg PGF2α /kg body weight, P2), 0,125 ml ovaprim + 1875 μg PG F2α/kg body weight, P3), and two other individual hormones, ovaprim ( 0,50 ml ovaprim/kg body weight, P4) and PG F2α (2500 μg PG F2α/kg body weight, P5), and control (1 ml NaCl 0.9%, P6). The best result was presented by the combination of 0.250 ml ovaprim + 1250 μg prostaglandine F2α per kg body weight (P1), which the semen volume, spermatozoa concentration, spermatozoa viability and spermatozoa motility were 0.163 ml, 18.167 x 109/ml, 81.50% and 79.833 % respectively.Item Estimation of Mangrove Forest’s Carbon Stock in Kuala Indragiri Coastal Riau Province – Indonesia(2017-10-01) Mariana; Felix, Feliatra; Sukendi, Sukendi; Nasution, SyafrudinMangrove forest act as natural carbon stores, but the carbon will release if the trees were felled and the area were deforested. The amount of carbon stored within an area are varies according to the type of the vegetations, so it is need to develop the low carbon stock areas. Mangrove is one of the ecosystem’s key in climate changes as the carbon’s storage. Most of areas in Kuala Indragiri are low-lying areas (93.31%), such as, regional stream sediment, peat swamp areas with soil (peat), brackish forest areas (mangrove). Some of the area approximately 0-3 meters above sea level. The research design is the explorative research, by using nested quadrate method. There are 5 locations of carbon stocks sampling in Kuala Indragiri coastal: Sapat as station 1, Tanjung Lajau as station 2, Tanjung Melayu as station 3, Sei Bela as station 4 and Sei Buluh as station 5. Each station has three line transects consisting three plots of each transect. The total plots are 45 in each determined mangroves land. The methods followed the procedures developed by the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) for mangrove forests. Based on the finding, mangrove vegetation in the Kuala Indragiri coastal consisted of fourteen species. In this study, the researcher developed a general allometric equation to estimate the individual tree biomass and soil carbon content. The finding showed that the estimation of the carbon stock in the whole mangrove forest in Kuala Indragiri coastal: the average ground mass C stocks at each observed station were estimated to be 767.28 ton/ha (trees strata), 92.84 ton/ha (belta strata) and average soil carbon at each station to be 492 ton/ha respectively. estimation of mangrove forest’s carbon stock at above ground biomass and soil biomass in Kuala Indragiri coastal Riau province – Indonesia totally to be 1.352,31 Ton/Ha.Item GONAD MATURATION OF SEPAT RAWA (Trichogaster trichopterus Blkr) WITH DIFFERENT FEEDING TREATMENTS(2013-07-18) Noverzon, Rio; Sukendi, Sukendi; ; Nuraini, NurainiThe research was conducted from Februari to April 2013 in experimental ponds Fishery and Marine Science Faculty of Riau University. The aim of this research was to investigate suitable feed for the maturation of the gonads of sepat rawa (Trichogaster trichopterus Blkr) reared with different feeding treatment such as Gonad Maturity Level (TKG), gonad maturation index (IKG), fecundity, egg diameter and egg maturation. The research method used was Completely Randomized Design (CDR) with three treatments and three replications. The treatment in this study were P1 (Tubifex sp), P2 (Shrimp pellet), P3 (Shrimp pellet + Vitamin E). The result showed that good feed for the maturation of the gonads was shrimp pellets + Vitamin E, reared for 42 days and the total fish reached TKG IV 21 tails , index gonad somatic 10,59 %, fecundity of 6435 eggs, egg diameter 0.71 mm. The temperature range from 29 – 320 C, pH 6 – 8, dissolved oxygen 4.5 – 5,0 ppm.Item The Growth Of Motan (Thynnicthys Thynnoides) With Different Rearing And Stocking(2016-04-11) Sukendi, Sukendi; Putra, Ridwam Manda; Heltonika, BennyThe research was aimed to determined the growth and survival rate of Motan fish (Thynnicthys thynnoides) were rearing in cages with different stockings and locations. The treatments stocking used 40, 50, and 60 fishs/cage with a size 1 x 1 x 1 m. It was conducted on May to October 2010, while the located of rearing was in Kampar river and ponds of Fisheries and Marine Science Faculty of Riau University. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Laboratorium Pembenihan dan Pemuliaan Ikan Universitas Riau pada bulan juni 2019. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap dengan empat taraf perlakuan dan tiga ulangan yaitu P1 = Ikan tawes jantan x ikan tawes betina, P2 = ikan paweh jantan x ikan paweh betina, P3 = ikan tawes jantan x ikan paweh betina dan P4 = ikan tawes betina x ikan paweh jantan. Hasil yang diperoleh dilakukan uji statistik dengan aplikasi SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai pembuahan tertinggi diperoleh pada perlakuan P1 (87,8%±2,69), nilai penetasan pada perlakuan P1 (84,45%±3,47), pertumbuhan bbobot mutlak pada perlakuan P2 (1,56 g ±0,01), panjang mutlak pada perlakuan P1 dan P4 (3,69 cm ±0,03), pertumbuhan spesifik pada perlakuan P2 (14,37%± 0,03) dan kelulushidupan pada perlakuan P1 (79,26%±3,39). Nilai heterosis bobot mutlak 1,643, panjang mutlak 0,136, pertumbuhan spesifik 3,996 dan kelulushidupan -33,333.Item The Improvement of Ovulation Stimulation and Egg Quality of Pawas Fish (Osteochillus hasselti CV) for Artificial Spawning Requirements in Seed Production(2017-10-14) Sukendi, Sukendi; Thamrin, Thamrin; Putra, Ridwan MandaThis study aims to determine the increase of ovulation stimulation and egg quality of Pawas (Oseochilushasselti CV) with ovaprim’sstimulifor artificial spawning requirements in baby fish production. The treatment were consisted of ovapriminjection P1= 0,4ml/kg body weight, P2= ovaprim injection of 0,5 ml/kg body weight, P3= ovapriminjection 0,6 ml/kg body weight, injection ovapriminjectionP4= 0,7 ml/kg body weight and P5= injection of 2 ml physiological saline 0,65%/kg body weight (as a control). The results showed that the best treatment for the improvement of ovulation of stimulation and quality of Pawaseggs’is P3= ovapriminjection 0,6 ml/kg body weight produced in a latency time of 6,15 hours, the total of eggs ovulation produced as much as 242 grains/g carrier, the egg increasementwas in diameter of 0,1925 mm , egg maturation was increase about 20% and its ovisomatik index value of 14,75%.Item Kajian Perbaikan Mutu Air Gambut Untuk Kegiatan Budidaya Ikan Di Desa Sungai Tohor, Kecamatan Tebing Tinggi Timur, Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti(2018-04-03) Hendrik, Hendrik; Sukendi, Sukendi; Heltonika, BennyThis study aims to analyze the study of the effect of improvement of water quality parameters of peat water with filter system, biological coogulation and microalgae for fish farming activities. The research was conducted in Sungai Tohor Village, Tebing Tinggi Timur Subdistrict, Meranti Islands Regency. Procedure of research activity is done by way of peat water coming from canal pumped by multilevel filtering. Water filtration by drum stratum is intended with macro and micro filtration separation, macro filtering using only ijuk and burlap sack. While microscreening using layers of krikil, sand and charcoal, and the provision of lime tohor. The results showed that there was a change (increase) to pH value from 3.7 to 5.4; Dissolved CO2 decreased from 31.9 to 24.6 mg /l, dissolved DO increased from 3.92 to 4.09 mg /l, TSS decreased from 82.5 to 4.5 mg /l, increased brightness from 64.5 to 68.2 cm and the temperature rises from 27.9 to 30.1 °C and there is growth and multiplication of microalgae on the surface of water. From the experimental maintenance of catfish dumbo done, generally not possible to survive, because the still high dissolved CO2 which is toxic to fish and pH that still needs to be improved again. Need further research on the technique of reducing the dissolved CO2 value and increasing the pH value, thus reaching the recommended threshold point for fish farming. For fish cultivation activities from the results of this study only allows to cultivate the local fishes only.Item Kematangan Gonad Ikan Sepat Mutiara (Trichogaster leeri Blkr) Dengan Pemberian Pakan Yang Berbeda(2018-02-13) Habibi, Habibi; Sukendi, Sukendi; Aryani, NettiThe research was conducted from March to May 2013 in Bredding and Hatchery Laboratory of Fishery and Marine Science Faculty of Riau University. The aim of this research was to investigate suitable feed for the maturation of the gonads of sepat mutiara (Trichogaster leeri Blkr) reared with different feeding treatment such as Gonad Maturity Level (TKG), gonad maturation index (IKG), fecundity, egg diameter and egg maturation. The research method used was Completely Randomized Design (CDR) with three treatments and three replications. The treatment in this study were P1 (Tubifex sp), P2 (Shrimp pellet), P3 (Shrimp pellet + Vitamin E). This study aims to determine the distribution of nitrite waste in the lithology of the study area. Materials and Methods: This study was conducted using experimental methods. These measurements use equipment that suits the needs of pizometers, geoelectric equipment, GPS. The data obtained are data ratio such as hydraulic conductivity data, well depth, well position, nitrite concentration and coordinate of research location. Contour distribution model of nitrite waste in lithology using Surfer-13 software. Results and Discussion: Nitrite concentrations obtained through existing wells in community settlements ranged from 0.005 mg / L to 0.09 mg / L. While for class I, II and III is 0.06 mg / L while class IV is not required. This concentration value is actually a value derived from the accumulation of all sources of pollutants that exist in the city of Pekanberu, therefore this research is included in the research source of pollution spread (Nonpoint Source Polutan). Conclusion: The highest nitrite concentration values were in Rumbai, Rumbai Pesisir, Sail and Tenayan Raya sub-districts with an average of 0.08 mg / L, while the lowest was Marpoyan Damai and Tampan sub-district with an average of 0.014 mg / L. Although this concentration value ranges from 0.08 mg / L which exceeds the water quality standard for each class of 0.06 mg / L, it is still less than 1 mg / L and is suitable for community use.Item Morphoanatomical and Histological Changing During The Developmental Stages of Ompok hypopthalmus Ovary(2016-08-28) Windarti, Windarti; Sukendi, Sukendi; Heltonika, BennyDuring the gonadal maturity process, changes are occured in the morphological and anatomical characters of fish ovary. This study aims to understand the morphoanatomical changes as the ovary of Ompok hypopthalmus develop. The fish were captured from the Kampar River. Fish that were in 2nd, 3rd and 4th maturity levels were studied directly. Morphological and anatomical characteristics of the liver, gonad and viscera were then described. Results shown that the GSI increase as the gonad developed, from 1.5529 in the 3rd maturity stage into 7.0616 in the 4th maturity stage. The VSI and HSI, however, are fluctuated, it peaked in the 3rd maturity stage (4.3479 and 1.2558 respectively) and decrease in the 4th maturity stage (2.8352 and 1.0648 respectively), indicating that the energy stored has been allocated for gamet development. Moreover the color of the liver in the 2nd and 3rd maturity stage fishes were relatively pale than that of the 4rd maturity stage fishes, indicated that part of the stored fat in the liver has been allocated for gonad development.Item Pengaruh Penyuntikan Ovaprim Terhadap Daya Rangsang Ovulasi Dan Kualitas Telur Ikan Lele Lokal (Clarias meladerma Blkr)(wahyu sari yeni, 2019-01-03) Sukendi, Sukendi; Putra, Ridwan Manda; Eddiwan, EddiwanThe purpose of this study was to determine the effect of injecting hCG on the stimulation power of ovulation and the quality of local catfish eggs (Clarias meladerma Blkr). This research was conducted in March - June 2018 in the Laboratory of Fish Breeding and Breeding, Department of Aquaculture, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, University of Riau. The design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 3 replications. The treatment given was injection of ovaprim with different doses, namely P1 = injection of ovaprim with a dose of 0.4 ml / kg body weight, P2 = injection of ovaprim with a dose of 0.5 ml / kg body weight, P3 = injection of ovaprim with a dose 0.6 ml / kg body weight, P4 = injection of 0.9% physiological NaCl solution 1 ml / kg body weight (as a control). Test parameters measured consisted of latent time, number of eggs from stripping, egg diameter, egg maturity and ovisomatic index. The results showed that the best treatment dose to increase ovulation stimulation power and egg quality of local catfish was the treatment of injecting 0.5 ml ovaprim / kg body weight resulting in a latent time of 6 hours, the number of eggs striping by 4176 grains, egg diameter of 1, 8 mm, the maturity of the eggs is 90% and the ovisomatic index is 13.12%.Item PENGARUH PENYUNTIKAN OVAPRIM TERHADAP VOLUME SEMEN DAN KUALITAS SPERMATOZOA IKAN PAWAS (Osteochilus hasselti CV) UNTUK PRODUKSI BENIH DALAM KONSERVASI(2016-07-13) Sukendi, Sukendi; Thamrin, Thamrin; Manda Putra, RidwanThe aim of this research was to identify the effect of the best ovaprim injection toward semen volume and spermatozoa quality of fish pawas (Osteochilus hasselti CV). The experiment used five treatments as following : P1 = 0.3 ml ovaprim/kg of body weight, P2 = 0.5 ml ovaprim/kg of body weight, P3 = 0.5 ml ovaprim/kg of body weight, P4 = 0.6 ml ovaprim/kg of body weight and P5 = 2 ml NaCl fisiologis 0,65 %/kg of body weight). The research yield demonstrated that the best injection was 0.5 ml ovaprim/kg of body weight with a semen volume 0,63 ml, spermatozoa concentration 1404 x 10 7 sel/ml, spermatozoa viability 86,54 % and spermatozoa motility 71,33 %
