One way to reduce air pollution in urban areas is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and build Green Open Space (RTH). Therefore the purpose of this study is to calculate the exhaust emissions of motor vehicles in the city of Pekanbaru based on the distance traveled and the fuel used. Materials and Methods: Air pollution at a certain level can be a combination of one or more pollutants, either in the form of solids, liquids or incoming gases dispersed into the air and then spread to the surrounding environment. Further analysis in this study is to analyze environmental factors related to community environmental health and research methods is a quantitative method that is trueexperiment, the equation used is the emission load equation of the exhaust gas. Result: Some compounds produced from complete combustion such as non-toxic CO2, have recently become a concern of people. CO2 compounds are actually naturally occurring components in the air. Therefore CO2 previously did not keep the order of air pollution which is more than normal attention due to excessive use of fuel every year, so that in this study shows an increase in CO2 with increasing number of vehicles and mileage. Conclusion: Exhaust emissions are strongly influenced by the distance traveled and the number of vehicles, but there are other factors associated with increased gas emissions, namely congestion, so that technological advances in reducing the rate of increase in exhaust emissions are no longer functioning. Other factors that need to be taken into consideration are the number of vehicles, vehicle age, vehicle maintenance, vehicle speed, type of fuel, amount of fuel, and engine capacity that can affect vehicle exhaust emissions on the intersection of the morning market.Item Bioeconomic Analysis of Capture Fisheries in Bengkalis Regency(2016-03-29) Rengi, Pareng; Tang, Usman M; Siregar, Yusni IkhwanBengkalis coastal and offshore seas are well known for high fishing productivity. Fisheries sector had a significant contribution to regional economy, thus the development of fisheries become important for local government policy to increase fishermen welfare. However, it was indicated that the Bengkalis fishing production showed a decreasing trend which suggested an overfishing status. The present research aimed to analyze the fisheries resources state in Bengkalis Regency, and performed a Shift Share (SS) Analysis as well as Location Quotient (LQ) Analysis, to determine the trend of fisheries sector to Bengkalis economy. Furthermore, Bioeconomic Analysis and Institutional Analysis were also carried out to describe the institutional aspect. Apparently, Parang-parang (Chirocentrus dorab) have been over exploited. Bioeconomic analysis revealed that exploitation rate of Parang-parang reached 263%. Natural growth level of Parang-parang was calculated of 1,142, capture capacity coefficient was 0,0000002721 and carrying capacity coefficient was 168.882,96. Bioeconomic analysis result of Kurau (Eleutheronema tetradactylum) was overfishing 33,42%. Natural growth level of Kurau was 0,614, capture capacity coefficient was 0,00000020 and carrying capacity coefficient was 28.820. Fisheries management policy of this economic resources had better used MEY regime. Based on LQ and SS analysis, it appeared that fisheries sector had high effects to regional economic so that fisheries development provide significantly contribution to public welfare opportunity. The degradation of marine ecosystem and high exploitation (overfishing) become a serious problem. The role of social culture (local wisdom) should be revitalized. Stakeholders involved in fisheries development policy were fiseheries office, Bengkalis Parliament, Forestry Departement and Bengkalis Environmental Agency.Item Daya Dukung Habitat Gajah Sumatera (Elephas Maximus Sumatranus Temminck) Di Taman Nasional Tesso Nilo Provinsi Riau(2018-04-02) Yoza, Defri; Siregar, Yusni IkhwanThe same land use between elephants and humans results in elephant conflict with humans. The second stage is screening to prove the ability of these bacterial isolates to degrade petroleum. The screening method is done by growing bacterial isolates on 2% SMSS + petroleum media. The screening results showed 4 bacterial isolates were Hydrocarbonoclastic bacteria because it was known to be able to degrade petroleum hydrocarbons marked by a decrease in TPH and COD levels. The highest degradation rate of TPH and COD was shown by bacterial isolates IMB-03 with degradation rates of 39.23% TPH and 37.98% CODItem STRATEGI PENGELOLAAN PENGGUNAAN ALAT PELINDUNG DIRI (APD) DI LABORATORIUM KLINIK KOTA PEKANBARU(Program Doktor Ilmu Lingkungan UNRI, 2019-11-16) Yulianti, Fepy; Siregar, Yusni Ikhwan; Syahril, SyahrilThe number of work accidents in Indonesia tends to increase. There were 157.313 cases of work accidents during 2018. The laboratory is a workplace that has many potential hazards such as spills, chemical explosive reactions, punctured needles, exposure to infectious material. Workers in the laboratory are required to use the appropiate PPE, which is a lab coat, shoes, masks and gloves. Managers must provide proper PPE at work. Ineffective use, leads a problem that arises in the field. Management strategies for utilizing appropriate PPE usage are needed to improve the health status of workers. Percentage of clinical laboratory workers in Pekanbaru City who have knowledge based on STR ownership (68.61%) and the availability of work guidelines in the form of SOP (65%), which classified as the quite good category. The practice of PPE usege and the role of managers in managing, supplying, procuring and number of PPE is also classified as good category. Waste management in the laboratory uses a third party. Policy in the form of rewards (35%), administration of decrees/ sanctions (55%), availability of PPE signs / symbols (30%), providing training to each officer (40%) and providing health insurance in the form of MCU (50%) and vaccination (10%) is classified as poor category. Determination of management strategies for the use of PPE in the Pekanbaru clinical laboratory in this study using the SWOT calculation. The right strategy used from the results of the SWOT calculation is the survival strategy. The disadvantage is that there are no signs / symbols of PPE guidelines when entering the laboratory and the threat is that PPE waste that has been used without being managed properly according to B3 waste regulations will contaminate the environment.
