Peat water is surface water resulting from the accumulation of plant material residues in a large volume with a pH ranging from 3-5. In general, this makes peat water does not meet the requirements for clean water quality, however, in the case of water shortages it forces peat water to be processed into clean water. Peat water treatment must begin with measuring what content is in the water. Peat water was obtained from a large area of peatland in the Labuh Barat sub-district, Payung Sekaki subdistrict. The peat water was collected from 36 points from a depth of up to 2 meters. Peat water content was determined by measuring the susceptibility value using Quincke method and AAS test to classify mineral types and identify the process of mineral transfer in peat water then susceptibility mapping was carried out using the surfer application which is non-destructive method. The results of the magnetic susceptibility values of peat water samples in the Labuh Baru Barat sub-district, Payung Sekaki sub-district are 1.8465 x 10-5 to 1.962 x 10-5, with a density of 992,000 Kg/m3 to 998,000 Kg/m3. Based on the results of the magnetic susceptibility and the AAS test, it was found that the sample was paramagnetic with the heavy metal content of Mn, Mg and Cr still categorized as safe and not exceeding the standard threshold.Item PENGARUH BALL MILLING DUA TAHAP TERHADAP SUSEPTIBILITAS MAGNETIK DAN KOMPOSISI PARTIKEL PASIR ALAM SUNGAI ROKAN(perpustakaan UR, 2021-07) Ayuni, Widya; Salomo, SalomoThe effect of two-stage ball milling on the magnetic susceptibility and particle composition of the natural sands of Rokan River has been carried out.
