There is aim even of this research is subject to be get data and information about referee ability about karate contest regulation at Pekanbaru's city. This research backgrounded by the number of times available lack and misunderstanding sort that happening being begat by fault that comes from to side referee especially in gives score. This observational type is descriptive method that enlightens a data that at o and concluded of yielding questionnaire which is broadcast to 9 referees at Pekanbaru's city. Of that questionnaire data result then at one percentage assesses wholly and get to be concluded that referee ability about karate regulation at city Pekanbaru is good with percentage 76,26%. Referee ability about karate contest regulation was good but then of yielding interview with one of respondent says that referee shall ever follow upgrading and that jury referee refreshing its science stock gets crescent more because karate regulation always effloresce. And if a referee have is more than 2 its certificate years unmodernised therefore certificates already there is that invalid will or inoperative again and rehave again from the beginning follow upgrading and referee refreshings.
