Abstract : In any circumtances, the goverment’s commitment to improve the quality of education has not changed. School Based Management is one of the ideas in the direction that management has given permission to the school to set up and manage the internal resorces and environment schools effectively and efficiently higly supported by school community, parents, and society. It has been running less than 12 years, but the implementation is not in accordance with the expeceted results, where the school is still not implemented in accordance with the steps contained inguide lines for the implementation of School Based management in state high School 1 Tebing Tinggi
