Abstract:
This study aimed to describe the scientific attitude in science
teaching physics through the use of the original media on eighth grade
students of SMP Negeri 32 Pekanbaru. Subjects were eighth grade
students of SMP Negeri 32 Pekanbaru, amounting to 32 people. The
research instrument used for data collection in this study was the
observation sheet includes scientific attitudes: curiosity, honest,
responsible and work together in groups. Based on the descriptive analysis
of the scientific attitude of students at the first meeting by an average of
55.31% in the average category, the second meeting of the scientific
attitude of students on average by 58.75% in the medium category and the
third meeting of the scientific attitude of students by an average of 80.63 %
are in the high category. So overall there is increasing scientific attitude at
every meeting we can conclude the application of the original media to
inculcate scientific attitude in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 32
Pekanbaru.
