Abstract
Research data shows that the learning outcomes of students has increased, before
action is taken on average amounted to 65.14 student learning outcomes. In the first
cycle increased 72,50 totaling 7.36 points, totaled 72.50 in Cycle II increased 8.06
points. Of 36 students only as many as 16 students (44.45%) who scored above or
equal Daily Deuteronomy with KKM. While as many as 20 students (55.55%) is still
below the KKM. Causes of low achievement grade III SDN 166 Pekanbaru caused by
several factors, including: teachers still use the lecture method, the teacher does not
use the media in learning, students are less active in the learning process, students are
less careful in learning mathematics. After the action on the first cycle of students
gained 72.22% over the KKM Daily Deuteronomy or equal to KKM, on the second
cycle as much as 83.33% of students scored above KKM Daily Deuteronomy or
equal KKM. Activities of students during the learning process first cycle an average
of 60% with enough categories and the second cycle an average of 76% with either
category. From the above explanation shows that through the application of Quantum
Teaching Model to Improve Student Learning Outcomes MathClass III SDN 166
Pekanbaru on Matter Calculate Circumference and Area Square and Rectangle.
