Abstract
This research has analize about the Arab Spring phenomenon and how it influences the lebanese government. The north African and the middle eastern region that are experiencing a political struggle is known as the Arab Spring.A revolution aimed at overthrowing their rulers that started from Tunisia followed by Egypt, Algeria, Yemen, Bahrain, Libya, and Syria that are still politically struggling until today. The Arab Spring phenomenon that has been going on for the last few years have been up in Syria and have caused an impact on the politics in Lebanon.
Historical background makes Syria and Lebanon inseperable. The Lebanese political map has split into two groups: The group that supports the Syrian President's regime; and the group that opposes the Syrian President's regime. Besides that, the Lebanese prime minister, Najib Mikati is urged to resign by the opposition for allegedly interfering in the ongoing conflict in Syria and bringing along Lebanon into the conflict. Najib Mikati finally resigned from his position after a meeting between the political leaders Lebanon.
This study usea the system which in theory explains that in this world, countries interact within a system. The system's structure and the changes that occur has determined the behaviour of the countries mentioned. In addition, the author uses the concept of power in which the political actora can influence the thoughts and actions of other actors by using the power they own. The author also defines the scope of this study which is from 2011-2013.
