dc.description.abstract |
The purpose of this research identify the characteristics of family relationships and the types of diseases to health care utilization. The study design used descriptive correlation with cross-sectional approach. The sample was head of the families who use health services both medical and non-medical. Sample size was 126 respondents using cluster sampling technique. Measuring instrument used questionnaire and have tested the validity and reliability. The analysis used univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using chi-square test. The results showed, there is a relationship between level of education and the amount of income with health care utilization (p value: 0.001 ; 0,050) and there is no relationship between age and health care utilization (p value 0.980 ; 0.780). Based on this study suggested that health practitioners to improve health promotion related to the utilization of health services so as to improve the health of society. |
