Abstract
This study uses a class action research (PTK) implemented in the SD Negeri 35 Desa
Petani Duri. The object of this study was the fifth grade’s student in SD Negeri 35 Desa
Petani Duri with total of 25 students. Data obtained from the results of observation /
teacher observations, student activities for engaging in activities that were analyzed by
percentage techniques. The experiment was conducted in two cycles are the first cycle
and the second cycle. The average percentage revenue increase can be seen before action:
low, The first cycle is enough and very good after the second cycle. Teacher activities for
learning activities in the first cycle and the second cycle increased. In the first cycle,
students who complete the IPS learning students achieved 14 or 56% and that of
unfinished 11 students. This study shows that the results are classified students on fifth
grade in SD Negeri 35 Desa Petani Duri not produce satisfactory results or not completed.
So from that researchers continue to the second cycle to enhance student learning
outcomes. In the second cycle, students who complete the IPS learning reach 24 or 96%
of the students who have not completed and only 1 student or 4%. This study shows that
the results are classified the students of fifth grade in SD Negeri 355 Desa Petani already
showed satisfactory results or comprehensive
