Apabila pers tidak menaati ketentuan pengguna hak jawab Pasal 5 Ayat 2, dalam arti pers tidak mau menjalankan perintah yang telah diwajibkan dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 40 Tahun 1999 tentang Pers, pers dapat diancam dengan ketentuan pidana Pasal 18 Ayat 2 Undang-Undang Nomor 40 Tahun 1999 tentang Pers	en_US
dc.description.abstract	The press is a social institution that serves as a medium of information, education, entertainment and social control, whose existence is guaranteed by the constitution. In carrying out the function of the press as a tool of social control such releases require protection of legal certainty. Looking at the various cases involving the press coverage due to legal settlement is reflected in the lack of legal certainty. In a dispute between the press with the problems that occur when the press is often associated with the settlement of criminal use of the Criminal Code (the Code of Penal Code), instead of Law No. 40 of 1999 on the Press.	en_US
