Abstract
Koperasi Bumi Melayu is one of the cooperatives in Pekanbaru city is
engaged in the activities of the plots of land units, plantation units, savings and
loans units, production and processing units. There are phenomena that exhibit
cooperative services is still not good, causing a low participation of member.
Some of these phenomena include the hours of work that does not comply with the
time, the services that seem difficult members, and delays in reporting activities.
Research objectives are; 1) to determine the service on Koperasi Bumi Melayu
Pekanbaru; 2) to determine the level of participation of members on the
Cooperative Koperasi Bumi Melayu Pekanbaru; 3) to determine the effect of the
level of service to members on participation Koperasi Bumi Melayu Pekanbaru.
The samples were all members of the cooperative who totaled 62 people. Data
collection techniques using observation, documentation, interviews and
questionnaires. Analysis using quantitative descriptive method and simple linear
regression. The results showed that the Earth Malay Cooperative services
including both the category (75.81 percent), the participation of members of the
Malay Cooperative relatively rare earth (59.67 percent), the influence of
cooperative services to member participation in cooperative Earth Malay
Pekanbaru known from the t value (4.130)> t table (2.00) that affect service
members' participation Earth Malay Cooperative Pekanbaru.
