Abstract
Social learning in public primary schools is still low 033 this can be seen from the
value of the average student who just reached 61.45 is due to the applied learning
during this puts the teacher as the center of learning (teaching center),
monotonous teaching methods where students only receive learning materials and
students are not actively involved in the learning and sometimes students do not
have the courage express their ideas because they feel less sure of what will be
presented, so that students tend to be passive or not to participate in learning and
less attention when the teacher explains the material in front of the class. Students
are not excited about doing exercise and just wait for the teacher of friends. To fix
this thing should be done by applying an appropriate learning model. One is the
application of cooperative learning model NHT. The purpose of this study is to

Kualu Nenas Tambang by implementing cooperative learning model NHT. This
type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was implemented in
three cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation and reflection.
The data obtained in this study are student learning resullt obtained through
Deuteronomy Daily at the end of the cycle, all teachers have obtained from
observation sheets teacher activity, student activity sheets obtained through
observation of student activity. Analysis of student learning resullt on the basis of
the average score of 61.45 and 29.17% mastery learning classical, Cycle I
averaged 67.30 and 66.67% mastery learning classical, Cycle II averaged 73.75
with classical completeness Cycle III 87.5% and averaged 82.5 and 91.67%
classical completeness. From the results of this study concluded that with the
implementation of cooperative learning model to improve learning resullt NHT
IPS Elementary School fourth grade students Kualu 033 Nenas Tambang District.
