PENGAWASAN DINAS PERHUBUNGAN TERHADAP ANGKUTAN KOTA DI KOTA PADANG

Abstract

The increasing of citizen in urban area, state of life and welfare and the process of high tech stuff supplying demanded a good transportation tools to support citizen mobility. Transportation in one region run in good shape if the transportation system can afford their citizen need well. So, need a good coordination between all stakeholders transportation system management. The purpose of this research is analyze the coordination between all stakeholders in manage and also to solve the transportation problem around Bundaran Air Mancur Pasar Raya Padang. The purpose of this research is to know that the implementation of controlling public transport in Padang in 2012, where key informan become organizer team of Dinas Perhubungan, Organda and Satlantas Polresta Padang. The process of collecting data is getting from documentations and interview to informan research. After the collecting the data then analyze by using qualitative descriptive The result of this research can be concluded the coordination that happen is still not optimal yet. Like the case about management on Bundaran Air Mancur. Then can be seen fro meeting intensity about develop and reconcilitation system of transportation around Bundaran Air Mancur. The meeting that establish still un periodic, that means untill now no one specially problem of public transport that right now doesn’t have a station. This is because of less coordination between all stakeholders that run it function and duty also nees a strong commitment from all stakeholders in order to transportation around Bundaran Air Mancur
