Abstract:
This study aims to determine the relationship level of knowledge and attitude entrepreneur workers with the effort of HIV/AIDS prevention. The research method used was descriptive design with cross sectional correlation. The research is conducted at location in Sail sub-district, Tenayan Raya distric of 130 entrepreneur workers using cluster sampling technique. The analysis used was Chi-square. The result showed the there is no relationship level of knowledge entrepreneur workers with the effort of HIV/AIDS prevention (p-value = 0,690, p-value > 0,05) and there is a relationship the attitude of comersial entrepreneur workers with the effort of HIV/AIDS prevention (p-value = 0,020, p-value < 0,05). The results of this research it’s recommended that to related side (community health centers or clinic) for more intensive to give information about the prevention of HIV/AIDS, so that can implement a safe sexual behavior and can be avoid from sexually transmitted diseases especially HIV/AIDS.
