dc.description.abstract This study will analyze how the strategy of Regional Income Office Pekanbaru city in the management of advertisement tax. Acquisition revenue (PAD) from advertisement tax in pekanbaru sector is potentially quite high, because there is little individual or business entity that uses advertising as a tool to promote their business. Also in the collection of advertisement tax should not be difficult, since the object and the number of its points are clear. Achievement should gain local revenue (PAD) of the sector can be met, so that by optimizing the collection of advertisement tax is expected to increase local revenue (PAD). Regional Income Office strategies in the management of advertisement tax in the city of Pekanbaru to be very important in providing an understanding and sense of community to the intent and purpose to be conveyed can be well received by the public. The factors that can be made strategy success indicators in regional income Office in the management of advertisement tax in the city of Pekanbaru form of strength (Strength), weakness (Weakness), opportunities (Opportunity) and threat (Threat). Strategies that have been implemented by the revenue department in the management area of the city Pekanbaru billboard tax has been running well in carrying out its function as the agency making payments and income taxes and levies. Look at the foundation of law and a strong commitment to perform from all ranks to increase tax revenues Pekanbaru city billboards, but there are some indicators that still have not been able to run well.
