ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research was to improve learning outcomes the
application of mathematical models of cooperative learning Numbered Heads
Together at the third year students of SD Negeri 013 Ganting Kecamatan Salo.
This research was conducted at the third year students of SDN 013 Ganting
Kecamatan Salo, in odd semester of academic year 2012/2013. As a research
subject is class of III SDN Ganting Kecamatan Salo by the number of students 22
people consisting of 12 male students and 10 female students who have
heterogeneous capabilities. Forms of the research is a class act. In the research
model used is the model type of cooperative learning in teaching Numbered Head
Together space. This study was conducted in two cycles consisting of the first
cycle and second cycle each of the three meetings and one-time daily tests. The
results showed that the use of cooperative learning NHT model can improve
student learning outcomes, it is shown in the number of students who achieve
mastery criteria Minimum 65 on the base score 9 students (40.9%), increased in
the first cycle to 15 students (68.1%) and increased again in the second cycle to 18
students (18.8%).
