Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to: 1) know the description of self-concept of Malay
tribes; 2) reveal the self-concept of Javanese ethnic. Ssampel this study l is ethnic Malay
students as many as 37 students and as many parts of Java in high class of 32 students.
The method used is descriptive and analytical. Techniques of data collection is the
questionnaire and data analysis techniques using percentages. The results of this study
are: 1) an overview of self-concept of Malay students sub dominant social patterns in
indicators in the school environment with a score of 1123 (30.35%), 2) an overview of
self-concept Java tribal students it can be seen that the self-concept of high-class
Javanese subdistrict Uncle dominant pattern of social indicators in the school
environment with a score of 873 (27.28%). The key to this is the concept of self-study
students and Malay tribes like Java.
