Abstract
The purpose of this research to know the difference physics cognitive learning
outcome in the class that using Constructivism Student Worksheet with class that
using the Conventional Student Worksheet learning on class XI Science SMA Negeri
8 Pekanbaru academic year 2012/2013 subject matterial of Static Fluid. This research
was conducted with the design using two groups: experimental class and control
class. Data collection instruments cognitive achievement test given after the objective
form of the learning process. Data were analyzed through descriptive and inferential
analysis. Descriptive analysis of the results based on the criteria absorption, mastery
learning and mastery learning indicators derived cognitive learning outcomes of
students in physics class using Constructivism Student Worksheet lower than class
using Conventional Student Worksheet because they are unfamiliar. Inferential
analysis through the calculation of statistical values obtained Two Independent
Samples Test of significance > 0,05 or 0,229 > 0,05. Based on criteria of hypothesis
testing used Independent Samples Test, Ho is accepted, so there is no difference
between the outcomes of students cognitive learning physics class XI Science SMAN
8 Pekanbaru are using Constructivism Student Worksheet by using the Conventional
Student Worksheet level of 95%.
