Abstract
The purpose this research: 1) to know the level sketch done to emotion maturity
youngest child’s before the implementation of guidance group, 2) To know the level
sketch done to emotion maturity youngest child’s after the implementation of guidance
group, 3) To determine the extent to which difference in the level of emotion maturity
youngest child’s before and after the implementation of the guidance group, 4) How
much influence the guidance group on increasing of emotion maturity youngest child’s.
The variables of this study consisted of a single variable with two variants: 1. The level
of emotion maturity youngest child’s before the implementation of guidance group, 2.
the level of emotion maturity youngest child’s after the implementation of guidance
group. Hypotesis: there are significant differences between the level of emotion
maturity youngest child’s before and after the implementation of guidance group. The
study population is the youngest child’s class XII IPS SMA Muhammadiyah Satu
Pekanbaru Academic years 2012/2013 who has a problem with the level emotion
maturity. The samples were taken using purposive sampling technique. The method
used was experimental Quasi with One group pattern: One group pre-test and post-test
design. To determine the level of emotion maturity youngest child’s instrument such as
questionnaires. The data is analyzed using: 1) The conversion of the normal curve Anas
Sudijono (2001 :16, in Zubainar, 25), 2) A percentage formula To determine differences
in the level of emotion maturity youngest child’s before and after the implementation of
guidance group was used “t” test. From the calculations of the "t" test, it was obtained
that the t
hitung
is greater than ttabel
with (5,27> 2,042) at the level of 5%. From the
calculation of correlation coefficients and determinant coefficien then we obtain the
guidance group were 62% improvement of emotion maturity youngest child’s. Based on
the research conducted guidance group concluded after the leve emotion maturity
youngest child increases.
