dc.description.abstract Penggunaan Media Peta Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar IPS Siswa Kelas V SD Negeri 015 Segomeng Kecamatan Rangsang Barat Kabupaten Meranti Dewi Yana1, Eddy Noviana2, dan Erlisnawati3 Abstract The research aims to improve learning achievement with Map Media to improve learning result of Social Class at the fifth year students of SDN 015 Segomeng Sub-District of Rangsang Barat the Regency of Meranti. Research was conducted the second week in August to the second week in September 2012. The subjects of the research were fifth year students of SDN 015 Segomeng sub-district of Rangsang Barat, Meranti with a total 25 students, they consisted of 10 male students and 15 female students. The technique of collecting data of students’ learning achievement was using Map Media. The research instruments were achievement test, teacher and student observation sheet. The data collection techniques were the mastery tests and observation. While the techniques of data analysis using descriptive analysis. The Results of data collection can be seen from the daily tests 1 In the first cycle and the second daily test on the second cycle, the first daily test cycle I with an average of 62.4 and the second daily test cycle II is 77.2 so the increase of the cycle to the base score second cycle of 93.1. While the learning achievement of students who completed the Minimum Criteria ( KKM ) obtained from daily tests on students who completed the first cycle were 13 students, on a daily test of cycle II was increased, the number of students who pass were 22 students. The implementation of the activities of teacher in the first cycle reached (73.0%) which categorized as a Good, the second cycle increased to all teachers (89.0%) which categorized as Very Good. The Activity of students in the first cycle reached (76.0%) which categorized as Good as well and it increased in the second cycle to (93.1%) with a very good category. From the results of this research, the researcher concluded that using Map Mediacould give improvement of learning achievement of Social Class at the fifth year students of SDN 015 Segomeng on academic year 2011/2012. en_US
