Peranan Pemberian Gelar Adat ( Sasomba Nasi ) Kepada Mempelai Laki-Laki Dalam Tradisi Pernikahan Di Desa Tebing Tinggi Kecamatan Benai Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi

Abstract

Formulation of the problem in this research is How is using of give name Sasomba Nasi to the bridegroom in a wedding tradition in the village of Tebing Tinggi Benai District Singingi Kuantan Regency? The purpose of this study to determine How is using of give name Sasomba Nasi to the bridegroom in a wedding tradition in the village of Tebing Tinggi Benai District Singingi Kuantan Regency? This study was conducted in January 2013 until May 2013. Which became population in this study was 425 KK Tebing Tinggi Village. While the sample in this study was 4 Indigenous leader and 39 residents Tebing Tinggi Village District Benai Kuantan Singingi Regency was married. So the number of samples in this study were as many as 43 people. Data were collected by using a questionnaire consisting of 20 questions and interview as many as 6 questions. Data were analyzed with descriptive qualitative through Percentage. Results of this study showed that give name (Sasomba Nasi) to the Bridegroom in a weddin g tradition in the village of Tebing Tinggi District Benai Kuantan Singingi Regency with the percentage of 51.3% which is in the range of 50.01% -75.00% (Used). It can be concluded that using of give name (Sasomba Nasi) to the Bridegroom is used in a wedding tradition in the village of Tebing Tinggi Benai District Kuantan Singingi Regency.
