Abstract
In achieving the goal as expected an educator should be able to enhance the emotional intelligence, because by having high emotional intelligence then the performance is also expected to be high. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the emotional intelligence with the performance of teachers in whole Aisyiyah kindergarten in Pekanbaru. The sample used in this study is 50 people. Data collection techniques used were a form of Likert scale. Analysis using scale trials and statistical methods to the analysis of SPSS 16. In this research hypothesis posed there is no positive and significant relationship between emotional intelligence and teacher performance. From the results obtained are positive and significant relationship between emotional intelligence and performance kindergarten Aisyiyah teacher whole Pekanbaru. It is known from the analysis of data obtained from the coefficient determinant of r2 = 0.148996 and p = 0.006 (p <0.05), it can be seen that the influence of emotional intelligence by 14, 90% of the performance of teachers.
