Abstract
The background of this research was many of the teenagers who consume liquor in the Bakong Village west Singkep District Lingga Regency. The formulation of the problem in this research is “ what factor lead teens to consume liquor in bakong village”. The objective of this research was to determine the cause of facttor teenagers to consume liquor in the Bakong Village. The population of this research was all of the bakong youth 12-22 years old in which the total number of the teens 231 people. The sample was gained by cluster random sampling techniques. According to Suharsimi Arikunto if there are many subject of the research, we can take 10% from the total of population that are 23 people. The writer used questionnaires, interviews, and observation to collect the data. In analyzing data, the writer used Qualitative Deskriptive analysis.
The result of this research is the cause of thr factor teenagers to consume liquor in the Bakong Village was due to fear of rejection from the peer group assosiation with percentage of 82,60% according to Sutrisno Hadi many teenagers in Bakong Village consumed liquor which range from 66.66% - 100%. The hypothesis is “the dominan factor that is caused the Teenagers consumed liquor in Bakong Village because of they affaid if they cannot be received in their social life. Thus, it can be concluded that the cause of factor teenagers to consume liquor in the Bakong Village is fear of rejection from the peer group association.
