Abstract
Muhammad Al-Fatih Islamic hero is a figure who successfully conquered Constantinople in 1453 a.d. He was the seventh Sultan of the line of the leadership of the Ustmaniyah State. He was appointed to succeeded his father Sultan i.e. Murrad II. Constantinople conquest is an attempt to get Muslims spread Islam to get into Europe. The purpose of this research is to find out what role Muhammad Al-Fatih in conquered Konstantniopel and what is the background to the conquest of Constantinople. Remember that difficult to Constantinople was conquered by many Nations before but at the hands of Muhammad Al-Fatihlah it can be conquered. The research method used is the method of empirical and Historical Documentaries. The goal is to merekontruksi, researching, evaluating, and explain the evidence to get the facts and achieve results that can be accounted for. From the results of the study showed that the conquest of Constantinople is because aspects influenced encouragement faith in God who is energized by the Hadith of the Prophet that promises the city will be conquered, already hundreds of years old city of Constantinople became the center of the splendor of the Romans, the center of civilization and culture. Muslims have been able to conquer the Mada'in, the center of power of the Persians, the beauty of the city of Constantinople and its location is very strategic links between the two continents of Asia and Europe it is considered very important to the development of the spread of Islam to the Western world. In the conquest of Constantinople various attempts made by Muhammad Al-Fatih ranging from negotiated but failed in the end able to peperanganlah through the streets of Constantinople was conquered by Muhammad Al-Fatih, along with his troops. The fall of Constantinople brings big impact on turnover of life world. Many European Nations that were once traded through Constantinople now can't because the city had been conquered by the Muslims until it came to the Europeans to cruise around the world to get to Indonesia. This was the forerunner of the coming of the Dutch and the other invaders, especially to Southeast Asia.
