Abstract
This research aim to improve students learning outcomes in teaching and learning at MTs Al Hidayah Pematang Tinggi Kerumutan by implementing cooperative learning model division student achievement in math team that emphasizes the activities and interaction among students to help each other master the learning material to complete. The study was conducted by researchers in the second semester academic year 2011/2012. The procedur of research that is planning, acting, observing, and reflection. The activity and student learning outcome data were gained by collecting data by observation sheet and data activities of teachers and students. Learning outcomes in the first cycle found that percentage of students who achieve KKM is 40% and the second cycle is 75% and increase from before the measure the percentage is only 27.5%. The conclusion of the study showed that implementing of cooperative learning model of student team achievement divisions could improving student learning outcomes mathematic.
