Abstract
The research was conducted at the Board of Investment Pelalawan located at Jalan
Karya Bhakti Praja Township Office Complex Base Kerinci. The purpose of this study
was to analyze the effect of leadership and oversight of the performance of employees in
Investment Board Pelalawan. To achieve these objectives the research conducted using a
sample of employees who numbered 34 (thirty-four). Data analysis method using
simultaneous test and partial test (linear regression analysis using SPSS Windows
Version 17)
These results yield the value of R square of 0.842. This means that the research on
the effect of leadership and oversight of the performance of employees in Investment
Board Pelalawan, leadership and supervision of factors have contributed 71% of the
performance of its employees and the remaining 29% the performance of employees in
Investment Board Pelalawan influenced by other factors - others are not examined in this
study. This means that the factor of leadership and supervision of a positive and
significant effect on employee performance in Pelalawan Investment Agency. From these
results, the variable of leadership is the most dominant variable affecting the
performance of employees in Investment Board Pelalawan.
Recommendations to authors ask is that the leadership of the Board of Investment
Pelalawan attention to both of these factors (leadership and supervision) so if it can be
implemented properly and effectively it will be able to improve the performance of the
individual, which in turn can improve the performance of employees in Pelalawan
Investment Board as a whole
