Abstract

This research has a background that the students’ result of math learning is still low generally because the centre of teaching is still the teacher. The teacher is unable to involve the students in learning. Based of that problem, the research about class action researchis needed to increase the students’ result of math learning in grade V MI Darul Falah Langgam, LanggamSub-district, trough the model of cooperative learning type Numbered Head Together (NHT). This research was done on the even semester 2011/2012 during 2 cycles. The subject of this research is 14 students in grade V, consist of 7 boys and 7 girls. The instrument of collecting data is the test of students’ result learning and the paper of activity observation the teacher and students. The students’ thinking will be showed through the result of students’ test on each cycle. Afterwards, the increased percentage of the attainment Minimal Completeness Criteria (KKM) on the beginning dadt is 35,7% which becomes 78,6% on the first cycle with the increase 42,9% and becomes 92,9% on the second cycle with the increase 14,3%. So that the applying of Cooperative Learning Model Type Numbered Head Together (NHT) in this research was proven to increase the result of math learning on the students in grade V MI Darul Falah Langgam, Langgam Sub-district.
