Abstract:
A study about a learning models quick on the draw have been applied to see its
effect on learning outcomes for students of class XI Science SMA Islam As-shofa
Pekanbaru in the second semester of the school year 2011-2012. Learning model quick
on the draw is based on the game model that emphasizes the students activeness and
cooperation. This research is one of experimental research based on pretest-posttest.
The data in this study is collected by using t test. Hypothesis testing is performed using
the t test one sided and the obtained results of t count is 2.64 and t table is 1.67. t count
show a higher results than t table, it means there is some improvement in student
learning outcomes.
