Abstract

The research was conducted in the Tampan District Pekanbaru in May 2012. The purpose of this study was to determine the development of business services authorized motorcycle repair shop in Tampan District Pekanbaru and determine the feasibility and prospects official motorcycle repair shop services in the future as well as the obstacles faced. While the benefits of this research are expected to determine the development of business services authorized motorcycle repair shop in Tampan District Pekanbaru and as an input to the scientific reference for future research and other activities related to the development of the business industry overhaul, especially the formal workshop motorcycle. Data collection techniques used in this research is using questioner, observation and interviews, and the sampling method used is the census. Where the amount of the overall population were 13 authorized workshops service business in the District Tampan motorcycle Pekanbaru. Analysis of the data used is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis. From the research about the prospects business services workshop official motorcycles in sub-district Tampan city Pekanbaru obtained value net present value of Rp. 916.246.426 > 0 it means business services workshop official motorcycles in sub-district handsome city pekanbaru feasible and meet the criteria used as a business. While value benefit cost ratio 1,204 > 1 it means business services workshop official motorcycles in sub-district handsome city pekanbaru worthy to run and give advantage, and value internal rate of the return of 36,023% higher of the interest rate used namely 9% means that business services workshop official motorcycle the worthy to run.
