Abstract
Low achievement of learning for the fifth grade students in MTs Hubbul Wathan Bagan Punak Bagansiapiapi. Because the teacher explain the material is not the clear interested and quiclely the teaching metode is not varions, so the student is passive, so we will change learning model one of them is students teams achievement division ( STAD) cooperative type” based on the observer the first circle is not planning, that is team work is not cooperative and the other student with their friends opinion. In the second circle used of applying learning model (STAD)cooperative type the achievement of mathematic increasing based on test analysis. Than before the fact amount of students get achieve criteria of minimum competency. Better than before competency percentage regularly 39,3%, 60,7%, and 89,23%. So we can conclude that applying learning model STAD cooperative type can increase value of mathematic.
