Abstract:
This action research to improve learning outcomes through the application of mathematical learning model directly using visual aids in class of II SD Negeri 021 Bagan Hulu Bangko Rokan Hilir semester of academic year 2011/2012 on the subject matter of multiplication and division by the number of students 16 people consisted of 10 male students and 6 female students. The research was conducted in the second semester of academic year 2011/2012. The implementation study was conducted in two cycles consisting of the first cycle and second cycle each of the three meetings and one-time daily tests. Based on the research conducted, KKM student achievement at each stage carried a significant increase. In the daily test I, the percentage achievement of a score of 26.67 on the basis of an increase in the daily tests I with 53.34 as well as the percentage of daily tests II 93.34. There was an increase of 40% from the base score. It is concluded that the hypothesis can be accepted as true is through the application of direct learning using props to enhance students' learning outcomes math class of II SD Negeri 021 Bagan Hulu Bangko Rokan Hilir academic year 2011/2012 on the subject matter of multiplication and division.
