Abstract
Dendrobium phalaenopsis Fitzg orchid is a rare native orchid from Maluku. The advantage of this orchid are has many color of petals and has resistant from water shortage. This study aims to determine the effect by using IAA and BAP hormones as well as to get a combination of IAA and BAP hormones for the best shoot growth of explants D. phalaenopsis Fitzg orchid with in vitrofertilisation. The results showed when shoots appear parameters is significant effect on single hormone of IAA and BAP hormones, while the number of shoots parameters showed only a single treatment of IAA hormone are significant, then the percentage of live explants parameter was not significant. Based on the results of this study concluded that the best combination of IAA and BAP hormones to produce the fastest emerging shoots we can use I0B3 treatment, to produce the highest number of shoots use I1,5B1treatment
