Abstrak
This research aimed to determine the effect of 2.4 D and BAP on shoot multiplication explants dragon fruit (Hylocereus costaricensis). The experiments were performed using Complete Randomized Design (CRD) with factorial pattern. The first factor is 2.4 D which consists of three standard treatments of 0 ppm, ppm 0.25 and 0.5 ppm. The second factor is Benzyl Amino Purine (BAP), which also consists of 3 level of treatment that is 0 ppm, 3 ppm and 5 ppm. Parameters measured were time study appeared shoots, number of shoots regenerated (Shoots/ explants) and shoots high. The results were analyzed using one way ANOVAwith further test DMRT (Duncan's Multiple Range Test) at the level of 5%. The results showed treatment with 3 ppm BAP produced the fastest time of emerging shoots 14.5 HST and produces the highest average number of shoot /explant 5.38 buds. As for the best high of buds produced by combination of 0.25 ppm 2.4 D - 3 ppm BAP is the average height 1.74 cm. The best treatment for shoot multiplication explants dragon fruit is at a concentration of 0 ppm 2.4 D - 3 ppm BAP emerging shoots with average 14.05 HST (days after planting) the average number number of shoots regenerated (Shoots/ explants) 5.38 buds and the mean height 1.68 cm.
