dc.description.abstract |
Curcumin is one of secondary metabolites of fenolic group which could be produced by
isolation or synthesis method. Curcumin analog coumpond of chlorobenzaldehid
derivative was synthesized using microwave irradiation with a base catalyst (NaOH) and
an acid catalyst (NaOH). The purity of all compound has been tested using TLC, melting
point analysis, and HPLC analysis. The identification of curcumin analog coumpond was
analysed using UV-VIS, IR, 1H NMR and MS. The toxicity test was done by Brine
Shrimps Lethality Test (BSLT) method against Artemia salina Leach larva and showed
that LC50 was higher than 200 ppm. |
