UJI KEMURNIAN AIR SUNGAI BERDASARKAN SIFAT KELISTRIKKANNYA

Abstract

The purity of water in Sungai Siak, Sungai Teratak Buluh Kampar, and Sungai Singingi has been studied. The resistivity, and conductivity are detected by Wheatstone method. The Ratio sample of water is measured by using conductivitymeter and analyzed by Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer. The measurement of the electrical conductivity at Sungai Siak is 77.93 x 10-6 (Ωm)-1 , Sungai TratakBuluh Kampar is 48.72 x 10-6 (Ωm)-1, and Sungai Singingi is 69.44 x 10-6 (Ωm)-1. The percentage of error at Sungai Siak is 11,4% , Sungai Teratak Buluh Kampar is 10,16 %, and Sungai Singingi is 6,4 %. The heavy metals Zn, Fe, Mn, and Pb are high at Sungai Siak which are Zn 0.2009 ppm, Pb 0.0576 ppm, Fe 0.7778 ppm and Mn 0.0085 ppm. Compared with Government Regulation No 82 2001 Indonesia and the level of the average heavy metals to Sungai Siak and Sungai Singingi, those had passed a threshold value while atSungai Tratak Buluh Kampar is still below the threshold value.
