Abstract:
This research is aimed to find out the effect of Sludge's Compost at Soil of
PMK to The Growth of Palm's Seed in Main Nursery which had been done in
November 2006 to March 2007. This research uses random model which is
included in seven treatments with three replies. The treatments is control or
without sludge's compost, sludge's compost Trichoderma jp 60 gr, sludge's
compost Trichoderma sp 120 gr, sludge's compost Trichoderma sp 180 gr,
sludge's compost EM-4 60 gr, sludge's compost EM-4 120 gr, sludge's compost
EM-4 180 gr. The parameters were detected consist of the addition height of plant,
the addition sum of leaf, the addition circle of bump, fresh weight of root, fresh
weight of plants, dry weight of root and dry weight of plants. The results of this
research showed that the addition sum of leaf and circle of bump was significantly
affected by the application of 180 g sludge's compost EM-4 while for the other
parameter was not significant.
