Abstract:
The sediment of ponds at Muara Fajar is possible to contain organic and anorganic compounds derived from the decomposition of waste, which can be used as organic fertilizer. This study was carried out to analyze the concentration of Ca, Mg, and SO42- by complexometry method and spectrophotometry. The results showed various
concentration of the Ca, Mg and SO42- at each ponds. The highest concentrations of Ca
and Mg were found in the sedimen of first pond ( 0.05-0.2% ), whereas the highest concentration of SO42- was detected in the sediment of third pond (0.8 – 0.9%)
