dc.description.abstract Discipline is a procedure to correct or punish subordinates for violating the rules or procedures. Discipline is a form of self-control and the implementation of a regular employee, and shows the level of seriousness of the work team in an organization. In recent years especially the city of Pekanbaru Riau government did renovation and urban development on a large scale. Like the governorate building Riau Regional Library, Parliament Building, Sports Center, Building Culture Riau, Riau Main Stadium, Airport, Flyover, etc.. The development is carried out by the Government for the creation of completeness Riau public facilities for public welfare services Riau better. Therefore, also demanded construction worker or contractor who served in the field works really well for the creation of public service infrastructure is satisfactory. In this study, the study site is PT. Hutama Region I Medan. Researchers chose Enterprise because PT. Hutama Karya Region I work that was once located in the city of Pekanbaru, Riau finally in the year 2012 in moving the company to the location of the city of Medan, North Sumatra. Information obtained from investigators, the displacement caused by the location of the company's corporate policy considerations Medan city center with more potential in the transportation infrastructure completeness, comprehensiveness and speed of information, and opportunities for more projects for development in the city of Medan is still much more that must be addressed . This study uses a quantitative approach. However, to assist in the analysis of the data, this paper uses quantitative and qualitative methods. And quantitative data will be adjusted through the qualifying data. This method combines objective is to provide an explanation of the concepts or variables to be inferred. From the research conducted by the authors to note that employee discipline PT. Hutama Karya Region I Medan is Good work has to be said, because in this study the majority of the benchmark indicators to make it a good employee discipline has been answered by the respondents that an employee meets the criteria. Factors affecting employee discipline, consisting of; exemplary leadership, fringe benefits, staffing, employee human relations and regulatory policies. Based on the analysis of the responses found on the factors that affect the level of discipline of employees at PT. Hutama Karya Region I, there are many factors that can not be met by companies that have an impact on the decrease in employee discipline. This is evidenced by the responses of respondents who are not satisfied with any one of these factors. en_US
