Potensi Dan Pengembangan Ekowisata Taman Nasional Tesso Nilo Di Kabupaten Pelalawan Provinsi Riau

Abstract

The government and related parties are struggling to preserve the Tesso Nilo National Park and make it an example of the vast Sumatran lowland forest landscape. Tesso Nilo National Park is the forest that has the most diverse biodiversity and has many ecosystems and potential contained therein. Tesso Nilo National Park has interesting biodiversity and ecotourism potential. In addition, the Tesso Nilo National Park is also a dazzling lowland forest because the Tesso Nilo forest is a lowland tropical rain forest. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The location of this research is in the Tesso Nilo National Park Pelalawan district. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that the Tesso Nilo National Park has great natural potential that can be developed for the development of ecotourism, both animals and their natural conditions. The ecotourism potential is in the form of manumbai activities, pompong tour, elephant attraction natural cycling. The communication carried out by the Tesso Nilo National Park office in developing ecotourism is to compile the collaboration and the establishment of community support institutions
