Abstract:
Analysis of RLC circuit for driven potential using computation method has been carried out. Computer program was built which consisted of two parts which are the menu and main program. Input data in the menu were values of RLC circuit components such as resistance, inductance, capacitance, input voltage, and measurement time. Then the main program calculated the electric current and voltage of each electric component in the RLC circuit and the results are shown in graphics form. The input value were varied the frequencies at input voltage from 100 Hz, 500 Hz, and 1000 Hz, resistance values from 20 Ω, 63,25 Ω, and 100 Ω, inductance value from 10 mH, 1 mH and 0.1 mH, then capacitance values from 10 μF, 100 μF dan 1 mF. The results of this research showed some responses with varied of the frequencies input voltage. At varied frequencies of the input voltage, the current and voltage in the resistors and inductors reached maximum value when the input frequency is the same as the resonance frequency, meanwhile the current values decrease with the increase of the resistor values, the decrease of the inductor values and the increase the capasitor values.
