Abstract:
This study was conducted because there are many students who have not mastered
dialogue. This can be seen by the number of students who have not completed the
initial data with the 36 students (81.8%), while the number of students who pass is
8 students (18.2%). Formulation of the problem of this research is the application
of the model can improve the ability of role playing dialogue fifth grade students
of SD Negeri 2 Senapelan Pekanbaru?. Activity of the first meeting of the first
cycle teachers with the percentage of 58.3% (category enough), at the second
meeting of the first cycle increased to 75% (both categories). At the first meeting
of the second cycle the percentage of teachers continues to increase the value of
the activity that is 83.3% (very good category) and at the second meeting of the
second cycle percentage increased again found that 94.4% (very good category).
On the activity of the percentage of students who obtained at the first meeting of
the first cycle is 55.5% (category enough), at th e second meeting of the first cycle
increased the percentage of student activity that is 72.2% (both categories). While
at the first meeting of the second cycle is 83.3% (very good category) and the
percentage of student activity at the second meeting of the second cycle increased
from 91.7% the previous meeting (category very well). Dialogue capabilities
obtained from the initial data the mean is 44.1 (less than once a category) and the
percentage of skilled only 18.2%. Average increase obtained after applying role-playing models in Cycle 1 UH I obtained the average increase is 65.1 (category
enough), the percentage of students who completed 59.1%. At UH 2 second cycle
averages increased to 81.0 (very good category) and the percentage of students
who completed 88.6%.
