Abstract

Conflicts can arise due to dissatisfaction of communication, the lack of trust and lack of ingenuousness of the parties that are interrelated within the organization. Negotiation is one effective way to resolve conflicts. The purpose of this study is to determine KSBSI negotiations to reach an agreement in the determination of compensation for workers of PT. FSS, as well as to identify factors which inhibiting and supporting affects the success of negotiations KSBSI with PT. FSS to reach an agreement in the determination of workers compensation. The research used descriptive qualitative method is based on primary data source, secondary data. Technique analysis data using Milles and Huberman model, and the technique of examination of data used Tringulasi. This study shows that KSBSI negotiations between PT. FSS to reach an agreement in the determination of the workers' compensation by using win-lose solution which leads to be more compulsion, the intimidation conducted in the form of demonstrations, although KSBSI has tried to use the win-win negotiation. An agreement reached is PT. FSS is willing to recompense the compensation in the form of allowances in accordance with the demands of the workers. The inhibiting factors which it leads to unsuccessful KSBSIā€™s negotiations are other approaches between PT. FSS and PT. CPI, hence the pressure of the individual or elements which involved. Meanwhile the supporting factors are the commitment, community support, mediator, and the media which involved as well
