Abstract

The stock price is influenced by the performance of the company. Financial performance of the banking assessed using CAMEL ratio, which is proxies by the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Return on Assets risked (RORA), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return on Assets (ROA), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR). The aim of this research is to determine whether the ratio of CAMEL influence on stock price of banking companies which is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study is using secondary data obtained from the publication of the financial statements in Indonesian Capital Market Directory. Amount to 31 banking companies which listed on the Stock Exchange will be taken as Population during the observation period 2007-2011 and 14 Bank as a sample of this study. Interpretation of sampling which is using purposive sampling method based on certain criteria accordance with the objectives of the study. Data analysis method is used multiple linear regression. The results indicates that the p value 0.000 <0.05, which means variables simultaneously CAR, RORA, NPM, ROA and LDR have any impact on the banking company's stock price. Bank stock prices partially influenced by NPM, ROA and LDR whereas CAR and RORA have no effect on stock prices.
