dc.description.abstract PENGGUNAAN MEDIA AUDIO-VISUAL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MENDENGARKAN CERITA ANAK SISWA KELAS V SD NEGERI 021 SENAPELAN Oleh : Lareza Ramadona1, Hamizi2, Lazim N3 ABSTRACT Audio-visual media can develop the skills of children in listening kid’s story. Learning process based on the process of communication, the process of delivering a message from the message resource through a channel or specific media to messege receiver and listening skills means the ability to finishing the task by listening. The purpose of this research is develop skill in listening kid’s story the fifth grade students of elementary school 021 Senapelan with totaling 39 people. With the hypothesis of this action research is used audio-visual media, it can develop skill in listening kid’s story for the fifth grade students of elementary school 021 Senapelan. The data obtained through observation and tests, then is processed with technical data analysis for individual skill, classical, teacher observations and student activities. The use of audio-visual media needed by teacher to apply it in school. This research is done for two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings for action and one meeting for exam, so long as six meetings preliminary data obtained only 64, 23 percentage increase be came 66, 03 percent for the first cycle exam with predicate enough and continoved to increase became 72,69 at percentage of second cycle exam with prediket well. Activities of teachers from the first cycle until the second cycle increased from average of 91,5 percent in the first cycle became 97,5 at the second cycle are accompanied by increase in student activity with average percentage of 81,25 at the first cycle become 85,00 at the second cycle. So using audio-visual media can develop skill in listening kid’s story for the fifth grade students of elementary school 021 Senapelan en_US
