Abstract

PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KONTEKSTUAL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MERONCE PADA SISWA KELAS VA SDN 165 PEKANBARU Cinda, Raya1, Zariul Antosa2, Syahrilfuddin3 Abstract This research was motivated by the number of students who got less skilled and unskilled category in crafting subject meronce. This is because the SBK learning method on SDN 165 Pekanbaru, teachers still use the speech method and only explain theory without practicing it. Therefore, students have lack experience to making crafts meronce. The purpose of this research is to improve about meronce skilled with the application of contextual learning model in class VA SD Negeri 165 Pekanbaru with the subject matter of craft meronce. This research applies Classroom Action Research (PTK) which consist of four stages at each cycle, including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This research was conducted in two cycles. First cycle is consist of two lesson, conclude with the assessment and result process. And also in second cycle which consist of two lesson also conclude with the assessment and result process. The result from this research indicates that the application of contextual learning model can improve meronce skilled in class VA SD Negeri 165 Pekanbaru. At the beginning test, there are not highly skilled students, while skilled students are only 11 students with the percentage 28.21% and average value is 57 less-skilled category. Whereas in the first cycle, there are 6 students who have highly skilled with percentage 15.38% and 19 students who have skilled with percentage 48.72% and average value of skilled category is 68. In the second cycle, students who have highly skilled, there are 13 students with percentage 33.33% and there are 25 skilled students with percentage 64.10% and average value of highly skilled category is 81,1.
